Where Have We Seen God?
Zoom Service with Communion and Annual meeting
This week's service was held by Zoom at 10:30 am on Sunday, Feb 7. It includes Holy Communion so you may wish to set aside some form of bread and cup. Zoom invitations are sent by email.
The worship service was followed by a congregational meeting and the service includes a reflection on the annual report. Where do you see God shining through our congregation?
Adult Study (this week off)
For adult study, we will continue next week with the 3rd of a 5-video series, "America's Unholy Ghosts. See trailer. Email the office to receive the Zoom invitation. Catch-up at 9:30 a.m. We view the film and discuss starting at 9:45 a.m.
The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. challenged us to investigate the "ideational roots of our hate," and that's what author Joel Edward Goza opens up for us in these films created around some of the themes in his book America's Unholy Ghosts.
